I am blogging this merely for my own sake. Maybe it will do me good to see it and be reminded peridocially.So on the way to the Seattle REI tonight from the back seat Julian states out of nowhere quite matter-of-factly in a tone I could tell meant he was hinting at the obvious ~
"It's going to be a long time until you publish your music, Dad."
Damn. I had no response to this. None. So this is my reminder in case I need one that someone is actually paying attention.

I'm not sure if this is funny or not. Kids say the darndest things, that's for sure. And sometimes it's that blunt, brutal honesty that's needed to snap us out of our reverie and make us realize what we need to do.
