So Julian has taken quite a liking to all of my old Calvin and Hobbes books and has probably read just about all that I have (something like a dozen or so I think). Tonight, he was reading from the collection called
The Days Are Just Packed and came across a strip that I highlighted (one of many in this book) that I thought was awesome (apparently just like I did probably ten years ago) ~
Calvin: If people sat outside and looked at the stars each night, I'll bet they'd live a lot differently.
Hobbes: How so?
Calvin: Well, when you look into infinity, you realize that there are more important things than what people do all day.
Hobbes: We spent our day looking under rocks in the creek.
Calvin: I mean other people.
